Erin (Vee) Hassan graduated from the Aveda Institute in Minneapolis in 2001, and went on to complete an apprenticeship at Van Michael Salon, Buckhead. She became recognized as a breakout star, and moved on to work with Van Michael for ten years. She assembled a full clientele under her belt, and became a part of the coveted education and art team. Erin has lead multiple Aveda hair-shows and workshops and has been nominated thrice for the prestigious North American Hair Awards (NAHA). She has done impressive editorial + styling work for New York Fashion Week and has completed advanced training with Sassoon. Embracing her inner-herbalist, Erin combined her love for hair and health by joining the Anna Russ Ayurvedic Health Coaching in wellness and herbs in 2013. She studied traditional Chinese medicine and 60 native plants at Botanologos in 2015. She is licensed by Steamy Chick as a Vaginal Steaming facilitator, and is working on her Peri-steam Hydro-therapist certification. Erin’s philosophy is simple: She knows she has one life, and she wants to fully indulge in it; even the smallest things can bring the greatest joy!
